I wrote to the CEO of Barclays Bank UK, Matt Hammerstein, to express my concerns about the proposed closure of the Harringay Green Lanes branch.

I am deeply worried about the impact on elderly and disabled local residents; the impact on local businesses who are paid and pay their staff in cash; and on the branch’s staff.

I will be meeting with Barclays soon to urge them to reverse their decision.
