Yesterday (Monday 11th September) I spoke during the Second Reading of the EU Withdrawal Bill, and in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday 12th September) I voted against the Bill's passage, for the Labour amendment to the Bill and against the Programme Motion that will curtail debate at Committee stage.
I voted against the Government's Brexit 'strategy' and against this power grab. The price for crashing our economy will be paid for by people like my constituents in Tottenham. We are sent to Parliament to lead not to follow, and it is up to MP's of all parties to stop the Government leading our country off a cliff.
