On Saturday I spoke at an anti-racism march in Parliament Square. You can read more about the protest here.
I said that we need to send a message that we don't want the fascism and xenophobia of Le Pen and Wilders in our country.
My parents arrived in this country to signs saying "No Blacks, No Irish, No Dogs". At the turn of the century I thought we had left racism behind in the 21st century but racism is back and it feels like we are going backwards.
The EU referendum has unleashed a huge wave of racism, discrimination and huge crime and there is no doubt that we live in troubling times. So it is up to all of us to stand up, call it out and say not in my name.
