The Prime Minister and David Lammy, Minister for Skills, travelled to the West Midlands today to meet apprentices at the BMW plant in Hams Hall, Warwickshire. They met staff and workers at the Hams Hall plant, where all BMW four-cylinder petrol engines are built. They were both there to learn more about BMW's apprenticeship scheme, as the Government makes improving skills among Britain's workforce a top priority.
