Visit to Northumberland Park Community School

Friday, 16 October 2009

This morning, 16th October 2009, David paid a visit to Northumberland Park Community School near White Hart Lane.

During the morning, David spoke to a Year 10 assembly on the importance of Black History Month and what it means to him (video below), as well as a Year 11 class on his Tottenham upbringing and how that influenced his desire to become an MP.

David would like to thank all of the staff and pupils at the school for being so welcoming and respectful, and would like to pay another visit in the near future to see how their GCSE revision is continuing.

Below is a video from the Year 10 assembly, with a video from the Year 11 class to follow, as well as some photos taken from the day.

YEAR 10 ASSEMBLY - "WHAT BLACK HISTORY MONTH MEANS TO ME"

YEAR 11 CLASS - "GROWING UP IN TOTTENHAM"
