As you will already know, Boris Johnson has instituted above-inflation fare increases for London transport for the second-year running.

Under Boris, bus fares have increased from 90p to £1.20.

Tube fares outside of zone 1 have increased by 18%.

This will hit the most vulnerable Londoners the hardest, after a year when they have suffered enough already.

While he has increased fares for ordinary Londoners, he has reduced the costs of driving gas-guzzling Jeeps, Porsches and Ferraris around Central London.

He has scrapped the extension of the congestion zone to Kensington and Chelsea (worth £70 million a year).

He has scrapped the levy on gas-guzzling vehicles driving in London (worth £50 million a year).

Ordinary Londoners are suffering so we can subsidise the lifestyles of the rich few.
