Speaking after hearing Tottenham Hotspur have been granted full planning permission by the Mayor to redevelop White Hart Lane, David Lammy said: “It will mean a world class stadium on the site of White Hart Lane that still respects the club’s identity, history and community. The area surrounding the club is integral to its identity - a move to the Olympic Stadium would put all of this at risk.”
“It is time the club give their full, unequivocal backing to developing the Lane and keeping our North London heritage.”
