Plea for help...

Labour MP John Woodcock has informed me that his constituent, 15-year old Alice Pyne, has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and was been unable to find a matching stem cell donor when she was well enough to benefit from treatment.  Needless to say, she would like to recruit as many people as possible to the bone marrow donor register.

The charity John has been dealing with is Anthony Nolan.  The charity is specifically targeting men between the ages of 18 and 30 because they are physiologically the best donors.

John’s goal is to recruit ten donors in Wentworth and Dearne.  I would also like to get as many donors as possible to save Alice’s life and the lives of many others like her.

Please go to the charity’s website to join the bone marrow register: http://www.anthonynolan.org/What-you-can-do/save-a-life.aspx
