Last Wednesday (23/09), David paid a visit to the Haringey Youth Council to take part in a Q&A session on topics including university debt, youth stereotype and parliamentary expenses.
David Lammy also presented the young people with awards for their contribution to the community. They were given Diana Certificates of Excellence for organising a two-day event called Shout Out, which was attended by more than 200 young people.
 David said: “These are really engaged young people who genuinely want to make a difference. They asked some fantastic, challenging questions.
“I am proud of the young people of Haringey. This is the face of Haringey we need to celebrate.”
