Last Wednesday (9th December) Bruve Castle Museum won the award for Customer Service Team of the Year awards in the Public Service and Education category at the National Customer Service Awards, held at the Grosvenor Hotel. The other finalists included the DVLA and Merseyside Police.
The picture to the right shows the curator Robert Waite (centre), Sarah Barrett (left) Head of Customer Experience Manchester City Airport who sponsored the category and comedian and novelist Dominic Holland who hosted the awards.
Below is the letter David sent in to congratulate the team at the Museum for all of their hard work:
"Dear All at the Bruce Castle Museum, I was delighted to hear of your success in the National Customer Service Awards this week. I send my congratulations to all those involved in this immense team effort. This really is a tremendous achievement of which I hope you are all duly proud. It is always wonderful to have a reason to celebrate Haringey, even more so in light of the museum’s commitment to preserving and celebrating Haringey’s rich history. Engaging all members of the community in the educational work of the museum is work that can all too often go unacknowledged. The quality of service that this award recognises is fundamental to the success of the museum and should stand as an example to others. Well done! Best wishes, David"
